My vacuum cleaner has become really loud lately. It's so bad I have to put cotton in my ears when I use it.
What does this mean? Is it about to give up on me or does this mean something needs repair or changing. Th manual had nothing to say about that problem.

| 3. You might have something stuck in there. |

Unplug the vac and turn it upside down on the floor. Is there some kind of plate you can take off? You're looking for a sock, rag, or something else that would be plugging the intake. There might be a shoelace or string wrapped round the fan thingie that sucks up the dirt.
Anything?

Have taken it apart a couple times and found nothing. The loudness is actually coming from the motor itself. It still has suction though. Thanks

But take it to a repair service before it dies. They may be able to save it, but I doubt it.
