This was a very interesting news conference because it reinforces my belief that these guys WILL TELL YOU what they're all about. However, like gold mining, the nuggets do not lay out on the surface. You have to dig for them. But they're there.
These guys tell us how they think and what they're up to(in particular RumsFinished, because he's such an arrogant fool, he can't resist blabbing just a little too much).
I quickly picked up on 2 things right away:
1) someone asks RumsFool about the War on Terror. Notice how he subtly backs off. Oh, that Rummy! Such an orator. Such a wily hyena. He gently states that the War on Terror cannot be won. We can't win it.
2) RumsFathead mentions that other countries have to participate in the War on Terror, or else it's no good. We can't do it all, after all! "Not I, said the Little Red Hen". RumsFoul mentions that we can't control what other countries do, so we may not be able to win the war on terror BECAUSE OF THEM.
My conclusions:
RumsVile is clearly stating here that fighting a War on Terror is not a priority. We can't win that kind of a fight, anyway. Also, we'll blame other countries since they're not interested in co-operating with us, anyway.
So of course, this begs the question. "Then why did we take on Terror?" Answer = we never did. We just wanted to go into Iraq, and using a Grandiose concept was the best way to do it. Case closed.
See how he does that? Ask and Ye shall receive. Dig and Ye shall Find.
