I lost my mom when I was 17, but it was a car accident and she died instantly. But 8 years ago, my father-in-law died of emphysema and that was terrible. My hub held up pretty good, but my mother-in-law had to sign a "do not resucitate" form. It was very heartbreaking.

I'm glad you were there for your grandmother, unlike the woman interviewed on the news yesterday who couldn't get to her grandfather because of the protestors. What a shame.
