Bottom line: Martinez stupidly handed his talking point memo to a Democrat. Then he lied, lied, lied about where it had come from. Then he lied some more about whether he knew about it. Then he let his lead counsel twist in the wind for it. And even the lead counsel, while twisting, lies that "he never meant for the memo to be distributed" and didn't even recall printing it out. Only problem: several Senators had copies.

This is a very enjoyable story.
