2. Schroeder is NOT a socialist. He's pretty moderate.
He gets a lot of criticism for abandoing the more liberal politics of his youth.

This guy is so in favor of markets regulated effectively so that they can grow and spread more wealth among ALL the classes, it's makes me laugh to hear him called a socialist.

I know the right wing wants to redefine moderation as socialism. But, let's be honest with ourselves about the difference between socialism and what amounts to liberalism today.
