Part of me hopes she makes it to her hearings, does well, and is confirmed if she really believes some of these things. If so, this is the best we can hope for from this president.

Of course she said it some 11 or so years ago, but this was also after she had switched parties and was "born again."

I think the fundies have reason to be concerned about her views, and liberals and thinking people have reason to be concerned with her competency and independence from Bush on issues like executive power to detain people without trial and counsel.
