53. But Tom is the Senate majority leader...
Edited on Sun Nov-23-03 05:56 PM by Dr Fate
Come on Cocoa- I appreciate you wanting to stick up for the guy- he IS our "leader" supposedly, but this thread is about Tom's interview, not other DEMS...

-let's not deflect to other DEMS- this is about our Senate LEADER in particular...MANY DEMS in the base feel that he does not fight hard enough, or at all. Some of this is perception- but WHERE did that perception come from?? From actual examples of Daschle being too timid.

He choose to "respond" and I think he did so poorly. So do many other DUers. He could at least take the time to read what the base is thinking on the internet- like Clark & Dean appear to do. Tom seems caught up in these old-fashioned rules that are getting us nowhere...

He is "nice", yet they ATTACK- ATTACK-ATTACK. I would like to at least TRY a different strategy for once- and just tell the truth about Bush...

Kennedy and Clark DO fight harder than Tom- that is why that perception exists- I dont think it came from out of the blue...

I am SICK. I am TIRED. I dont know what to tell you.
Perhaps Tom did use the right strategy and I am just missing somthing- none of the nice guy crap seems to work, I REALLY dont think voters respond to it...
