28. That day is for our planet and must be kept Apolitical
All I see in the news regarding ANY GOOD THING this man does is tying it to the same damned question, "is he running?" Live Earth, the Nobel Prize nomination, his books, An Inconvenient Truth, ALL tied into some BS clandestine political motivation because all the media gives a damn about is discrediting his message. And I think at some point it is rude, it is wrong, it is a distraction, and it is detrimental to getting out this important message in a SINCERE fashion. I am not going to Live Earth to witness a GD political rally, I am going as an environmentalist for my PLANET and I don't care about the political stripe of anyone there. Al Gore has stated that this is not a political issue but a moral one, and by God he is right and I believe that should be respected on that day at the very least. And as far as the 'idea' of America you respect, logically then you cannot deserve a president you respect unless you respect your country enough to get up and change it first.
