34. I think they make it confusing on purpose
Edited on Tue May-06-08 03:00 PM by suffragette
They obfuscate and obstruct at every turn.

The hard part is when they're installed in the offices which are supposed to provide oversight like this one, but are acting in exactly the opposite way - very 1984. It's layer upon layer of lies and misdirection. Who wouldn't have a problem sorting that out?
They've upended justice and replaced it with injustice.

At this stage, it becomes even more difficult since some of them may be turning on each other to save their own hides as best they can. It's possible that could be happening here between Bloch and DOJ. Or they could be collaborating to make the whole thing a mess and undermine the process and then point the finger at each other for doing so, laughing behind their hands at the citizens they've not served. In other words, they might just be stalling and playing out the clock.

edit to add: Just realized I could be confusing here myself. When I refer to "they" confusing on purpose, I don't mean TPM or Josh. I admire him greatly and think he's doing an admirable job trying to dig down and get to the truth. The "they" is the administration.
