17. In the olden days, many grew up as CADDIES at the CC
Now nearly all were members growing up. That's not to say that they don't work hard at their jobs and have to stay on top to make gobs of money, but their idea of "work" is different from someone who works two jobs to afford junior college RN certification.

Their united front against Casey Martin a few years ago really showed their elitist outlook on life. Martin is crippled and used the Americans with Disabilities Act to gain the right to compete on the tour with a cart. To a man the PGA was outraged that Martin would be allowed to compete with "assistance". Meanwhile they all teed off that weekend using eyeglasses, golf gloves, spiked shoes, and all other manner of assistance.

Also, you recall the uproar when the Ryder Cup team didn't want to visit the White House in 93 because they didn't want to hand out with a "draft dodger". Now they're all chummy with the current resident of the WH - a deserter who's never made an honest buck in his life.
