even though the House under the Constitution begins the removal process with impeachment

Pragmatic political considerations arise from the fact that the Senate is closely divided, with essentially half of its members uncompromising * loyalists. It seems just about everyone on the Democratic side of the aisle in the House -- who attempted to calculate the political consequences of a trial that did not even come close to removing * -- reached the same conclusion

For you, "moron" apparently means anyone, who reaches a conclusion you don't like. Good luck with that!
