Just thinking about herself, not the country.

Probably worried about how a conviction for public corruption
would look on her resume. Not to mention how a prison term might
adversely affect her complexion.

(actually, the least that can be said is got mixed up
with a really bad crowd. But then, you gotta figure people working
for Rove gotta figure the storyline isn't exactly Willie Wonka and
