those who were prayed for (and didn't know it), healed more quickly and were more hopeful and optimistic during their hospital stay. Prayer to some is just sending good energy in someone's direction. To me, it's something altogether different. Hey, I thought we at DU were supposed to respect different religious beliefs. I think many are jaded by the people that have called themselves christians lately. However, medical science proves that prayer actually has a positive effect on the patient. Hard to argue with scientific data. Edit: left out a word, anal huh?
