.. all hell is breaking loose. I heard an eloquent interview on NPR yesterday with an editor of an Arab paper in Beirut. I agreed with him on so many levels. He said that they need to leave the Iraqis to create their own post-Saddam country. He said that while removing Saddam (theoretically) was a good thing, because of his ruthlessness.. he said that it was NOT good that we did it, or that we are occuppying Iraq now. America will not let the Iraqis create their own government, because the corporations want to be sure it's friendly to them. We have made a grave mistake, or more sinisterly, committed a grave crime in tearing apart Iraq. Ghadafi we make deals with and befriend.. Saddam? We rip his country apart, and kill thousands. And Ghadafi was an admitted terrorist responsible for the Pan Am/Lokerbie deaths. How can we get ourselves out of this???????? :cry:
