That is the heart of republican land right there. I am honestly surprised that they would even let that into their paper. In the book by Richard Clarke he brings this up repeatedly. Freeh was looking at everything else, Ashcroft was busy canceling funds to combat terrorism.

It was brought up in a State Dem meet-up tonight that they should not say the Bush administration let 9/11 happen. It should be pushed that it was going to happen but Gore would have made them work their butt off to do it, Bush did nothing to impede their progress. I thought it was an interesting idea to say the least.
