<snip>

Former Republican Sen. Bob Dole suggested Sunday that John Kerry apologize for past testimony before Congress about alleged atrocities during the Vietnam War and joined critics of the Democratic presidential candidate who say he received an early exit from combat for "superficial wounds."

Superficial wounds? What McCain went through in South Carolina is superficial child's play compared to what the Republican attack machine is mounting today.

And Dole is part of their dirty tricks squad? I thought that Dole and his wife (who screened a video for Bush supports in Raleigh this weekend) were above the disgusting tactics utilized by the Rovians and their ilk. I thought wrong.

We are learning who the real Patriots are, fast, aren't we?
Veterans who do not toe the Rovian Party line, BEWARE!!!
