8. I love the Parliamentary system
If Blair (and the Gummt) is defeated in the HOUSE in a no-confidence vote then there will be an election. If he is defeated inside the Labour Party as leader, then he steps down as PM and is replaced by another Labour Party member who becomes PM. No General Election. In the UK tha PARTY is elected, not the man. The leader of that Party becomes PM.
