around Rome, and also Madrid and most recently Paris (around the Eiffel Tower). Of course Madrid had its own experience with the bombing of its railroad station (and who knows what the Basque separatists are up to). The guys in camo with big guns kind of surprised me but my guess is that they follow what the NYPD anti-terrorism guys do, e.g., pick a different landmark every day for special attention just in case anybody has any ideas about leaving their mark on a famous site, like the Statue of Liberty...
