4. Since we are at war (and i hate the fact that we are)

I think it was a very good thing that the pope disapproved of the war and didn't give it his blessing. If he did i think we would be taking a lot more casualties over there. As the Muslim insurgents would call it a holy war being fought agents them since the pope gave it his blessing. That would mean there would be a hella lot more insurgents/money to support them to fight our soldiers.
