in its insistence on running everything from the top down. We just don't work that way, we work from the grassroots up.
The reason the Clinton campaign has been so tenacious in the face of defeat is that it's really a battle for leadership of the party. It certainly isn't ideology since the voting records of both are nearly identical. The DLC, long in the driver's seat in the party leadership bus, doesn't want to give up the privilege.
If anything good comes out of this acrimony, I sincerely hope it's the death of the DLC as the driving force in this party.
Clinton is a good candidate. Most of us really wanted to like her. However, her campaign staff have made this incredibly difficult. Let's hope she's the last good candidate to have a campaign torpedoed by DLC mismanagement.
