that is driven by political instability in the region, which has been caused by this war. Bush has tried to lay this at the feet of increased demand by industrializing nations, but they were industrializing before the huge increase in prices. It's pretty simple: no war in the Middle East, no premium for political instability. War in the Middle East, gas goes up.
You want cheap gas? Then get our troops out of Iraq.
