the point of the article is that Al Jazeera reports the news, independent of Coalition spokesmen spoon feeding them 'information'. The title of the article is obviously satirical. Here's a couple of paragraphs:



As Arnaud de Borchgrave writes for UPI, "These Arabic channels have some forty crews between them and staff every major city. From inside Fallujah, besieged by U.S. Marines, they broadcast live from bombed out buildings, damaged mosques and an overcrowded hospital."

This accounts for the huge disconnect between what American viewers see on channels like Fox and CNN, and what much of rest of the world sees.




The fact that the US media is basically in bed with the Bush Administration means that the reports they make are biased and distorted, compared to what the rest of the world sees and hears. No wonder so many sheeple believe Bush!
