(IHVHO), the conventional thinking at CNN, in Washington, and the rest of the country in general is completely wrong and behind the realities on the ground in Iraq.

This whole "stay the course" line of thought is so very out of it. The neo-con wet dream is over, they just haven't realized it yet. It's like cutting the head off the chicken, the muscle reaction continues, just like the talking heads keep nattering on with their talking points. The TPs left the station about one year ago, and only now, for only a few of us, does anyone notice their worse than the joke Iraqui communications minister ever was.

This whole "have Saddam's general be 'our' enforcer" in Fallujah is yet another 'jump the shark' episode, and the Sinclair ban on showing Nightline's tribute to the fallen is an incredible over-reach on the part of the establishment.
