I don't know if I would say that it's past the point of no return (because we, as a civilization have the power to turn around at almost any point), however we have certained entered a dangerous era. I personally am beginning to think that there are actually people in America who want this to happen (duh, I know, but it never ceases to amaze me). If we continue down this road, we'll ruin our reputation beyond repair, to be sure. For myself, I guess it hangs in the balance of the 04 election. If, after all the garbage that has transpired over the past three years, the mainstream populace still thinks that the Bush junta is a valid government and chooses to keep them in power (or allows bogus elections to pass as valid), I will move to the EU, or someplace that's still semi-sane, as I simply can't abide by these events being perpetrated in my name.

Time will tell, I guess. I have hope that this is not what people want, but there are still way too many sheeple who think this clown is a legitimate leader, which he is simply not.
