as "brash young junior executives?" Square of jaw, keen of eye, and full of shit, all of them, and in that 34-49 cohort that is most solidly pro-Bush. You know, that's the cohort who grew up hearing their parents complain about hippies, and complain that blacks were inferior but were being put ahead of whites, and complaining that ladies didn't go out and work for a living and certainly not in "male" jobs, blah blah blah.
They're too young to have experienced the sixties but the perfect age to embrace a reactionary Calvinism against all the reforms. They escaped the brunt of the economic disaster the 70s brought, but just the right age to cash in on relatively cheap college educations followed by the yuppie boom of the 80s.
I'm afraid they're also going to be with us for a long time, screwing up everything they touch, unless the coming disaster is enough to wake them up.
