3. That's nothing. The only Texas prisoner spared was a serial killer.

An infamous, notoriously brutal killer named Henry Lee Lucas. Go ahead and google it. Not only that, Lucas had the reputation (and admitted to it, then retracted it) of being a Satanist. And yet bush allows the execution of Karla Faye Tucker to go forward, but not Henry Lee Lucas. My oh my, will wonders never cease.

Guess where the first "hit" took place? And yes, it was a hit, so he would be admitted to the "club." Guess where Lucas was first solicited to commit murder.

Florida. That's where. I'm thinking Henry Lee Lucas never got the needle because of that "loyalty thang," and it was all quid pro quo. He made the mistake of getting caught, but bush never made the mistake of allowing the execution.

It's too bizarre, it really is.
