Remember, when the Republican led Senate votes for bankruptcy reform today the are actually declaring their own moral bankruptcy. They've done nothing to solve the problems inherit in the credit card business, (like exorbitant interest rates for instance,) except make it harder for those caught in the deliberately set traps to get out without chewing off their leg.
"In plastic we trust," that is, "in the campaign donations of the credit card companies we trust" is the message being passed in the Senate today. "We are morally bankrupt but we believe in the campaign donations of the credit card companies."
