68. As the Senate debates ANWR, guess what HISTORY CHANNEL is broadcasting?
I was channel surfing. CSPAN2 is covering the Cantwell amendment. At the same time, the HISTORY CHANNEL is broadcasting "Modern Marvels: OIL" "The oil industry, from the digging of the first well in the 1850's to the geopolitical of the late 20th century".

As Senator Cantwell had just finished saying that any oil from ANWR would not necessarily go to the USA, rather enter the global supply chain, I flipped to HC to see the building of the Alaska pipeline.

Unbelievable.
