I'm around teens and college age kids (white and black) every day and I don't know anyone who uses that as a greeting to another person regardless of color. Maybe 5 years ago, but definitely not now. The white kids don't dress like they do to try to "be" black. They dress like that because it's the accepted fashion of the day. They don't use the language they do because it's "black slang". They talk the way they do because it is the accepted slang of their generation. Dude needs to get over himself a little.
