But, the Vatican felt that the world was not ready for it at that point. When it was fincally revealed in 2000 (I think). It was supposedly about a assassin trying to take the Pope's life (which happened in 1981).

Now this is where it gets weird, if that was the message, then why was there great secrecy surrounding it? Surely if that was the message, then the Vatican could have announced it sooner.

I think the Vatican has since admitted that they only partially revealed the vision and that the rest of it has to do with the Apocalypse. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if the rest was about the Apocalypse starting soon after the Pope's passing. I think * has all the signes of the Antichrist.
