You can have a "Born Again" experience if you are any denomination of any Protestant or a Catholic.
Once you are "Born Again" it DEPENDS on the rabidness of the congregation or the denomination to have you adhear to the stringent and narrow belief that is the companion of accepting Christ as your saviour.
For example, a very liberal Lutheran could have a "Born Again" experience, but not have their feet held to the fire for not believing the companion BA requirement that the Bible is absolute truth.
This is usually not the case in say...a Baptist Church.
"Born Agains" tend to go over to non-denominational/pure Fundamentalist churches because of peer pressure to be in a pure environment.
There is no such thing as a "Born Again Catholic", only ex-Catholics who are "Born Agains". Ask any "BA". They will tell you.
