1. The first thing they could agree on
Edited on Thu Apr-07-05 08:26 AM by sui generis
is basic human decency.

Any religion that thinks that killing sinners is more moral than sinning should be eradicated from the face of the earth. Feel like beheading gays in Saudi Arabia anyone? Feel like stoning women to death for getting raped and not doing enough to prevent it? Buh bye. :nuke:

Any religion that seeks to remove the basic human rights of women or gays by seizing control of the government should be eradicated. buh bye middle east, Africa, America :nuke:

Any religion that seeks to control a government rather than its own flock should be eradicated. Fundamentalist proselytizing freaks in America? buh bye :nuke:

I'm just a pissedoff endangered human pickled for science and floating in a bitter vat of brine.

on edit: THIS IS HYPERBOLE. The real solution is to strengthen and encourage democratic forms of government to avoid allowing extremism to develop in the first place, and to have tools for de-fanging it when it does arise.
