Perle wasn't about to provide the apology Rep. Jones (R) sought. He disavowed any responsibility for his confident prewar assertions about Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction, heaping the blame instead on "appalling incompetence" at the CIA.

"There is reason to believe that we were sucked into an ill-conceived initial attack aimed at Saddam himself by double agents planted by the regime. And as we now know the estimate of Saddam's stockpile of weapons of mass destruction was substantially wrong."

OK I'm back...so Hussein set up intell saying he had WMD, even though the intell MOST USED BY BUSH was from Hussein's own son-in-law who also in his report said -although bush never did- that Hussein had ordered the destruction of all Iraq's "WMD" by 1994.

The #1 intell source used by cheney & his asshole pal perle was...CHALABI. Yeah, Chalabi & his top aide's brother CURVEBALL were HUSSEIN PLANTS. rotflmao!!! *snort*

So all the years Hussein said Iraq had NO WMD was just a triple double bluff. Uh huh.

So Hussein planted this intell saying Iraq had WMD, knowing bush would then invade & occupy Iraq, and overthrow Iraq's government...ie Hussein himself...JUST TO MAKE BUSH LOOK BAD?
