5. What I found striking

was the testimony of the NYC cop who lost his son in the WTC on 9/11 and contacted the military to have his son's name put on a bomb to be dropped on Iraq. He was under the assumption that Iraq was responsible for 911 and when Bush came out and was forced to make a public statement admitting that there was no connection between Iraq and the 9/11 attack, he suddently came to the shocking (to him) realization that he had been used and his president had lied to him. He was from the old school (as he phrased it) and apparently like many Americans operated under the assumption that the word of the President of the United State should never be doubted on something as significant as the need to go to war.
