national quarrel are quite remarkable. Each regards the other as, at best, mentally unstable or intellectually challenged, or, at the other end of the spectrum, mentally diseased or profoundly evil. Very many of us have started in one camp and, as we have become more educated or socially conscious, have moved to the other side, thus having access to at least one observable case history, yet can still fall into the stereotyping trap. The human critter is such an illogical pest.
