It's that simple. Don't try to dig too deeply. Fundies are two-dimensional clones who worship a fearsome master. They will stop at nothing to try to save the 99% of the population that their hell-god plans to torture for eternity. They're insane. All you can do is ignore them, and call the police when you see them committing crimes-for-Christ.
