14. Because the Lutheran church is not easy to take part in. CCC is easy.
When I was about 12 I realized why my grandmother didn't like coming to our ELCA christmas ceremony, it was too hard. She'd get lost in the hymnal trying to figure out the structure of the mass, not to mention which setting, sermons were never dumbed down, it was expected that every adult listening to it would know their catechism and have been through confirmation. Let's face it, we belong to a rather bookish church. Books are hard and people don't like hard.
