A Letter To Time: Casting Couch Ann |
|
I am so livid over Time's pandering to the "on all fours" political dirty tricksters, that I nearly gave birth to a cow, 2 puppies, and 3 goats. So, here is my letter to Time. Please feel free in writing your own letters.
Dear Editor:
Your cover featured President Bush as man of the year was misguided to say the least, but featuring Ann Coulter can only mean one of two things: you have no credibility and therefor your choice is for advertising purposes or, you have no credibility and your choice is nothing more than the posturing of an ethically bankrupt publication.
Ann Coulter is not an "author" unless you consider propaganda and hate mongering worthy endeavors. Coulter is a sad representation of what is wrong with the mainstream. The reasons her books sell so well is that the Republican Party buys them in large stockpiles. Ann Coulter uses slander as her one and only talking point. She has called President Clinton a rapist; she has called "liberals" terrorists; and she has called Middle Eastern Americans much the same, adding that they should all be killed. Her rants against Jews are less likely to appear, but she makes them.
Worst of all, Ms. Coulter has yet to explain how she was in possession of the Tripp tapes during the grand jury investigation into President Clinton. She also fails to explain why she happened to be the currier for those tapes among the various players. Funny that you make no mention that Ms. Coulter, who admits to publicly bedding FBI "boyz", is funded by the Christian Right.
If featuring people who lie about almost everything; use slanderous and hate-pandering remarks; act as an operative in attempting to bring down a President is now worthy of your consideration... then why not include leaders of the KKK or better still, why not include Don Segretti as a cover boy to go along with your cover girl, uber definition of what a "political prostitute" is?
Casting Couch Ken and Barbie, err, Ann and Donny. How sad to see Time be used as toilet paper and how appropriate.
Regards, LA
