9. There has got to be a story that is unforgivable
or unforgetable. I'll never forget the time a surgeon called me stupid. I was doing recovery room, and got a pre-op (week-end call)
While I had a fresh post-op they sent down the pre-op, (small bowel obstruction) SENT the family with him and his NG tube wasnt controlling the nausea. They begged me to do something. There were no orders in the record so I called the MD (with the fam in fromt of me) He says "of course he's nauseated, he's got a SBO, What are you stupid?" My reply, is the NG is functioning, the fam is in front of me what do you want me to do? DICK
