4. The presser
Guy, et al. I found this from Liberal Oasis. If Bush is Elmer Fudd then the presser told the world it is lame-duck season and not wabbit season.

Bush didn’t.

He only came in with a wisp of new news, an overt embrace of Social Security benefit cuts, something the White House has signaled for some time.

Otherwise, it was a lot of talking points rehash.

From this, we should not celebrate the end of Bush. In fact, we now live in more dangerous times. Both the Senate and the House are being controlled by new-cons who are arguably more dangerous to the constitution than Dub-ya ever was. Just thought I would mention as something to chew on.
