Being an inquisitive lad in a college town, I was very much into comparitive theology and such while in my early teens(comes from one side of the family being Roman Catholic, the other Southern Baptist). I've read the Bible several times, plus the works of leading theologians. I used to wander down to campus when the campus fundie were doing their recruitment drives and engage them in a little theological debate. What fun! I'd wind up having four or five of these people standing around flipping through their Bibles in a vain effort to contradict me, then the grand finale, watching their heads explode from too much free thinking! Might have to go and do that again.

When they come to the door prostelytizing now, I generally tell them that I'm pagan. BAMM! Instant head explosion.
