. . .against Gore, because they've had more time to develop it. And they seem to have a personal beef against him too because of his ties to Clinton, who of course they feel is to blame for everything (will that witch hunt EVER end, do you think?). Also, the press, for whatever reason, has it in for Gore. I don't understand it, but there's a clear bias there.
But who knows, I could be wrong. I would love to be wrong about this. I think that Gore has earned the White House. I just think the Republicans will do whatever it takes to keep him out of there, as they already showed last time in Florida. Maybe I'm giving the Republican machine too much credit, though. And of course if Gore decided to run I would support him wholeheartedly, no question.
