7. If I said yes to that question
nobody would believe me. But I swear to whatever god it matters to I did see a "supposed" Al Quida person before. It was 3 weeks before 9/11, I was shopping at the Publix in Delray Beach FL and I was in the express lane. Life was boring and I was single and hey I didn't get out much OK? But while I was being checked out there was a very nice looking, well dressed gentleman of mideastern decent standing directly behind me, and being the flirtous person that I am when I'm feeling it you know, I tried to give this guy the "I'm intersted are you" look woman give sometimes.

The thing that stuck in my mind that day and why I never forgot this guy was because he pissed me off. The guy didn't have any life in his eyes, it was the weirdest thing. He just appeared to be fixed on doing exactly what he was doing, kind of like robotic if you really want to know, and I remember walking out of Publix saying under my breath "you asshole".

Four weeks later I am sitting in my cottage watching the coverage of 9/11 and they flash the guys picture on the TV as being one of the suspected terrorist of the 9/11 plane, his name was Muhommad Adda. My mouth dropped to the floor and I just sat there and said, "Shit, oh my god, I was trying to pick that guy up less the a month ago". I also kept thinking that nobody is ever going to believe this because I have no proof. But I did go back and read about the time line to the terrorists supposed movements before 9/11. Lo and behold, he was in Delray Beach along with 5 of the other ones that died in the planes. Scared the living crap out of me, I was originally from the midwest and I made plans to move back up here shortly after that. Needless to say I have been in the heartland since and don't think that I will ever again attempt to flirt with another guy I see in the express lane, as long as I live.
