in my somewhat limited experience on message boards, I've observed something. It seems that people don't come to message boards to agree on things. Honestly, I've been on some very benign, spirituality-type message boards that have erupted into ridiculous fights for no reason. I think that people just seem to be looking for something to be passionate about, or if they are already passionate about a subject, they find the internet to be the perfect outlet.

I am not excusing this behavior, in fact, it really irritates me. Especially here, where I kind of thought I had found like-minded people, and in some cases I have, but more often than not I've seen some eye-brow raising shit talking! LOL

I realize we need to examine, to criticize, to discuss. No argument. Between that and flaming can be a fine line, I guess I'm still learning to recognize that line myself.
