As mysterious and dark as S&B is, it seems to be a group of well connected, highly motivated (for the most part - excluding GW Bush) individuals. It makes sense that individuals who go to Yale will more than likely move on to big things, and furthermore, those that go to Yale and have strong priveleged backgrounds are most likely to go on to great things.

I don't subscibe to the conspiracy theories surrounding S&B, but it is an interesting fraternity to say the least.

I wouldn't worry too much about John Kerry being one. He is probably pretty embarrased that he sat around discussing his sexual history with a group of 20 year olds. No wonder he doesn't want to talk about it.
