41. Who could keep Dallas covered up for 40 years?
The assassination was the seminal single event of the last half of the 20th century. It led directly to the mess we're in today.

Who could cover their tracks and put a lid on dissent? Only the BFEE.

They "sold" the initial cover-up of conspiracy by selling the idea that Oswald's commiehood would get us into an all-out nuclear war with the Soviets. Supposedly these conspirators had wanted enough of an impetus to get an invasion of Cuba, like Operation NORTHWOODS which JFK vetoed. So, "They" were supposedly denied.

You and I both know they weren't, nolabels. They fought Civil Rights and got property rights, Vietnam, Watergate, October Surprise, PROMIS-Inslaw, Nugan-Hand, Iran-Contra, BCCI, the S&L lootings, Iraq-gate, BNL, etc etc etc. And above all, they made money and held power.
