because the day Clark gets the nomination, that's the day Bush has it in the bag. With the slightest encouragrment Clark would have joined the administration and become as big a cheerleader as he is now a critic of its policies. And now the best the party can do for its nominee is a man who has been a democrat for less then a week ?

The puppetmsters of the DNC/DLC have a very poor record the last several years of providing demcrats a reason to vote FOR democratic candidates. Clark is just more of the same.

Btw, picture the commercials running the video every half hour for weeks before the election of Clark panicing under press questioning, shouting " HELP ME MARY ". Chauncey Gardener was more credible.
