If you wonder about Koch or Kelly, this first paragraph tells you all you need to know. The third here will tell you that both Koch and Kelly are Dems who supported Bush in 2004.

Ed Koch will be coming in for a fundraiser for Kelly on Monday, the same day John Kerry, U.S. senator and 2004 presidential candidate, will be in St. Paul to stump for DFL endorsee and former City Council Member Chris Coleman.

An invitation for the Koch event lists it as "the last major fund-raising drive honoring Mayor Randy Kelly." It is scheduled, like an earlier fundraiser featuring Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, at the Summit Avenue home of a supporter.

Like Kelly and George McGelvey, mayor of Youngstown, Ohio, Koch was one of a few prominent Democrats who endorsed President Bush's re-election effort last summer. Kelly, however, is one of the few facing re-election.
