Open the WebSometimes an email to a webmaster fixes the problem and that is always celebrated.
Opera is fantastic software, but it is less error-tolerant than Firefox or IE.
However, there are also webmasters out there who are just weird. Every once in a while I follow a link where the webmaster has put in "browser-sniffing code" that detects Opera and directs me to a page telling me to download IE. :puke:
Sometimes there are even insults on that page about my superior software that I
bought.
My bank made "improbements" to their website that now requires me to "Identify" Opera as IE. So I hit F12, change the "identity" of Opera to IE and continue with my online banking. Idiots!!!
I did have to use Firefox for a while to send email through
Geocaching.com. I was thrilled when they finally fixed the code that prevented that function from working properly . . . and so were the other Geocachers who use Opera.
