Bush would face the same lunatics AGAIN.

He's in a real pickle. If he picks a real loon, he faces a shodown/fillibuster and does so from a VERY weakened position.

If he picks a stealth candidate, he faces the same problems he just went through.

If he picks a moderate, again, the Christo-Fascists will go berserk, even more so because he fucked them TWICE in a row.

There's no good option for him at this point. None.
